Residents can visit the shakeronline.com website for the latest on the City’s work around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion webpage is a one-stop resource for accessing related information and events. This includes
the DEI Framework, a roadmap for the City’s planned DEI-related work, was developed in consultation with Erica Merritt of
the Equius Group.
Additionally, residents can learn more about the City’s practices, policies, and legislative initiatives, including the police
department’s policy and practices review and reform work, their Family Safety Questionnaire, the work of the Fair Housing
Office, and the Human Relations Task Force Racial Equity Subcommittee, and enhanced anti-discrimination legislation
protecting the LGBTQ community.
The page will be updated with information about ongoing work and initiatives to promote equity in the community.
