long time but
couldn’t settle
on a design.
When David
Bowie died
in 2016 she
wanted to
commemorate
his impact
on her life.
She had the David Bowie/Aladdin Sane
lightning bolt tattooed on her arm.
“It was my first tattoo – but not
my last,” says Fischer Titas. She is
currently reading Piranesi by Susanna
Clarke. When asked her favorite
book, Fischer Titas replied, “That’s
like picking a favorite child,” but she
counts A Gentleman in Moscow by
Amor Towles and Jonathan Strange &
Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke among
her favorites.

and wanted to show my love for my
memory of her boyfriend’s mother.

Elizabeth I by Alison Weir and counts
Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett
among her favorite books.
Getting a tattoo is a unique
form of artistic expression, albeit
a permanent one. It’s best to do
research before getting one. The
Library is a good place to begin.
