n My sister was visiting from California and had never
experienced a storm like what we had. She was so impressed
with how the neighbors came together and came and checked
on me. The neighbor men cut up the downed trees and within
24 hours all the limbs were removed from the tree lawn by our
excellent service department. She couldn’t believe the quality of
the services here. I
am so lucky to live
in this community
going on 56 years.

n Thanks, Bill, for
cutting up the tree limb
in my backyard!
n One of the many reasons
I love our neighborhood:
Two chainsaws and lots of
people helping to clear
this out.
n I have been amazed
by the City workers
who have been out
since 8 am cleaning up.
n Thanks for all of your
hard work and for getting the
roads reopened so quickly.
n I am so thankful for my next door neighbors who
helped me get through this. They are awesome.
n Thank
goodness
for good
neighbors!
n I love seeing so many stories of
neighbors supporting neighbors
over the weekend. And I have to
give a huge shout out to EDWINS
Leadership & Restaurant Institute
Butcher Shop. They are my go-to
butcher every week anyway, but
Friday I did two weeks’ worth of
grocery shopping…we lost power,
and would have had to throw out
all of those groceries. Fortunately,
EDWINS let me bring all of my meat
back in a bag and store it in their
freezer until our power came back.
Huge thanks to these local guys for
always doing a great job, but also
supporting community members!
n Just want to say thanks to the
City and the Illuminating Company
for the quick work they are doing
in a very
professional
manner.
n Thanks to
all for their
tireless and
dedicated
service. SL
n Listening
to the
scanner
last night.
Our police
and fire
departments
did an
incredible
job.
