E| Rosalie M. Litt
Rosalie is a retired nurse with
an M.A. in Public Health. She
is a 30-year resident of Shaker
Heights and Cleveland. Her
creative digital photography
has been juried into the Barbara
Luton Art Competition, the
Shaker Lakes Nature Center
Photography Contest, and the
Artists Archives of the Western
Reserve PhotoNow show. “For
my letter, I used stickers of
alphabet letters in the way a
young pre-literate child might,
placing them in a playful dance
across the big wooden letter E.”
A| Sheri Lawrence
Sheri has a B.F.A. in Illustration
from Columbus College of Art
and Design and worked for
20 years as a graphic designer
before returning to school
to receive her M.A. in Visual
Arts Education from Ursuline
College. She teaches art at
St. Rita’s School. Sheri works
in acrylics, oils, watercolor,
pastel, and pencil. She has
created greeting card lines and
illustrated children’s books,
and is currently working on
digitized photos for shopping
bags and notebooks.
D| Pat Schroeder
Pat taught AP Studio Art and
Photography at Notre Dame
Cathedral Latin for 29 years.
She also taught art classes at
the Cleveland Music School
Settlement’s summer program
and created art workshops
for preschool teachers. Since
retirement she has been able to
devote more time to her own
art, which has been selected
for many local, statewide, and
national juried shows. “Making
art is not only a passion but
a challenge for me. It is my
way to continue learning and
experimenting with ideas and
media. Designing the letter ‘D’
was a good example.”
S| Carol Breckenridge
Carol works in fine and
commercial art and sells
her work in BreckWorks
on Etsy.com. She uses
acrylics in her paintings
and has enjoyed creating
line drawings of homes in
Shaker Heights. She created
exhibits for the Cleveland
Children’s Museum. After
receiving an M.A. in art
therapy at Ursuline College,
she worked for 20 years as
an art therapist in mental
health centers. She has
written and illustrated the
children’s book A Message
for Grandma, available on
Amazon.com. SL
