meets at 4:15 pm Thursday, April 23 at Main
Library. Share your favorites and enjoy snacks.

Recent Donations to the Library
Donations to the Library in the last quarter
of 2014 included contributions to the
Marilyn Kammer Memorial Fund from
Randy Kammer in memory of Beverly
Goldstein, Stella Harrison, Jan Morris, David
Owens, Elaine Waples, and Ricky Wolfson,
and to honor Belinda Miller.
Marilyn Gardner contributed to the
Frances Belman Fund in honor of Marsha
Moses. Unrestricted donations were received
from the Western Reserve Architectural
Historians and Chapter 39 Veterans for Peace
in appreciation for library programs.
Donations to the Local History
Collection included photos of Shaker School
District staff, 78 stereoscopic images of
Lomond School scenes from the 1930s,
and two stereoscope viewers from Peggy
Caldwell, on behalf of the Shaker Heights
City School District. Pat Eaton donated
candid photographs of Library staff.
Nina Freedlander Gibans and James
Gibans donated a collection of material on
modern architecture, a copy of the book Don
Hisaka: The Cleveland Years and a timeline
poster from Cleveland Goes Modern: Design
for the Home.
Donovan Hart donated research files
on the building of Shaker Towne Center.
Judith Karberg donated A Higbee History:
