House Diagnostics
Blower-Door Testing is the most
practical way to predict energy
savings by measuring and locating
leakage, providing the home
owner and insulator with
measurable and verifiable pre and
post results.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging inspections
provide a picture of a specific
condition of a home or building.
Infrared cameras locate anomalies
from moisture or water damage,
roof leaks, and window leakage.
Infrared scans can locate missing
or deficient insulation.

Ultra High Speed
Network Now in Shaker
Shaker is getting smarter and faster. City
Council granted a franchise agreement to
OneCommunity, a nonprofit organization
focused on making Greater Cleveland a
“smart region” by installing ultra-high-speed,
fiber-optic broadband networks throughout
Northeast Ohio for use by public institutions
and government offices.
The agreement between the City and
OneCommunity allows the nonprofit to expand
beyond their initial fiber network at the Shaker
LaunchHouse building on Lee Road and the
entrepreneurial housing on Chelton Road to
include other commercial areas of the City such
as the entire Lee/Chagrin corridor, Tower East,
and the Van Aken District. The extended fiber
network is expected to be a draw for budding
businesses, especially tech-oriented entrepreneurs
in need of an ultra-high-speed network.
Juma Gallery
Expands its Offerings
Since opening in Shaker in 2012, Juma Gallery
(20100 Chagrin Boulevard) quickly earned
a loyal following of customers in search of
distinctive clothing, jewelry, housewares,
and art. Owner and artist Erica Weiss, always
brimming with ideas, recently expanded the
offerings at the gallery, which will surely delight
regular customers and entice new ones as well.
Over the summer, Weiss launched Juma
Co-op, a clothing consignment program that
enables customers to bring in lightly worn,
upscale, Juma-esque clothing, shoes, and
purses. Items must be clean and ready for
immediate display. Upon the sale of an item,
the consignor receives 50 percent of the sale
price toward Juma store credit. What better
way to freshen up your Juma-style wardrobe?
This fall, Weiss opened Juma Coffee
House within the gallery. Holding true to her
creative edge, Weiss designed the coffee house
to be a place of inspiration, entertainment, and
unique food. “I saw a need for a community
social spot and hang-out, so I created it here at
Juma,” says Weiss.
The extensive menu is 100 percent locally
sourced and features coffee by Rising Star
Coffee Roasters, grab and go lunches by Choice
Catering, pastries by Meringue Cleveland,
organic teas by Cleveland Tea Revival, and an
array of locally made food items provided by
the Cleveland Culinary Launch Kitchen. Juma
Coffee House is also the East Side hub for
Cleveland Bagel Company.
