Library and OSHIPP Offer Medicare
Check-Up … Medicare health and
drug plans change every year. Are you
keeping up? The Open Enrollment period
is October 15 to December 7 so it may be
time to review your coverage.
On Wednesday, September 27 a
counselor from the Ohio Senior Health
Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP)
will be at the Main Library from
11 am to 12:30 pm to discuss the ins and
outs of Medicare.
Learn about the differences between
your Medicare benefits, such as supplemental
insurance policies, Medicare
Advantage plans, and prescription drug
coverage. OSHIIP does not sell insurance.
It is a free service through the Ohio
Department of Insurance that provides
unbiased answers and insurance counseling
on issues important to people of all
ages on Medicare.
Recent donations to the Library include
contributions to the General Fund from
Bryan Christman, Katherine Roberts,
Julianna Senturia, the Toni and Donald
Scherzer Family Donor Advised Fund of
the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, and
from Elisha Freedman, et al. to honor
The Flescher family honored Dr. David
Foxman with a gift to the Bertram Woods
Branch Fund. Peter Luton and his sister
donated to the Library’s Building Fund in
memory of Barbara and Michael Luton.
Contributions to the Marilyn
Kammer Memorial Fund came from Karl
Kammer in memory of Nathan Madvid
and from Randy Kammer in honor of
Lynda Thomas donated to the Frances
Belman Fund in memory of Doris Vargo.

Friday, September 15: Both libraries will
open at 10:30 am after a staff meeting.
