Hands-On-Honey Workshop
Get the buzz on bottling honey and the
lowdown on how the bees make it. With
instruction from Amalia Haas, roll up your
sleeves to bottle, cap, and label honey jars;
sample two honeys and learn why they
taste and smell so different. Environmental
educators will also discuss the native plants
pollinators need. $30 for adults, includes
a 2½ oz. bottle of honey; $25 for children,
includes one free accompanying adult and
one bottle of honey.

Overwhelmed with kiddie clutter? Hot
wheels not so hot anymore? Maybe it’s time
to recycle those loved-but-little-used toys.
Family Connections will accept gently used
or like-new children’s toys, books, games,
puzzles, riding toys for children birth to six
years, and baby equipment. Donated items
must be clean, working, containing all
pieces and parts and age appropriate. Please
include batteries for items that require
them. Plush animals and car seats cannot
be accepted.
