Return of the Shaker Heights Arts & Music Festival
New (temporary) location on Shaker Boulevard
in front of Shaker Middle School
The 2015 Festival promises all the fun, food, music, art, and entertainment of previous
years but with the added benefit of a spacious Shaker Boulevard, closed to traffic from
just east of Warrensville Center Road to Belvoir Oval, with ample on-site, RTA, and
on-street parking. The fun starts on Saturday at 10 am and goes until 10 pm (artist
booths close at 8 pm), and continues on Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Bands include
Blue Lunch, Red Light Roxy, and Cats On Holiday.
This year, the Craft Fair component of the Festival will include Shop Shaker and
Beyond, a focus on artisans with local roots. Don’t miss this opportunity to give local
talent some love.
Construction to reconfigure roads and to redevelop the Van Aken district is
responsible for the relocation, but the plan is to return permanently to a redeveloped
and welcoming Van Aken as soon as it’s ready for us.
Spend Saturday and/or Sunday at the Festival with your neighbors, friends, and
family. There’s something for everyone. The Festival is brought to you by the City of
Shaker Heights, the Ohio Designer Craftsmen, and the Shaker Arts Council, who thank
the following for their support:
The residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
Festival Ambassadors ($2,500)
