Michael Connelly. Defense attorney Mickey
Haller investigates when a former client and
prostitute turns up dead.
Tuesday, June 23: Guests on Earth by
Lee Smith. A young, orphaned piano prodigy
is admitted to a North Carolina mental
hospital under the care of a celebrated doctor
and receives treatment alongside fellow
patient Zelda Fitzgerald.

Petrone holds a Master’s degree in
English with a concentration in Creative
Writing from Cleveland State University.
Her short fiction has been published by
Glimmer Train, Featherproof Books, Muse,
Conclave, and Whiskey Island. Petrone
co-authors the Cleveland Indians’ blog,
ItsPronouncedLajaway.com for ESPN.com’s
SweetSpot network. She lives in Cleveland
with her husband and daughter.
